Happy Birthday 2009!!!

Yes It is my birthday today! Any special plan? No… Well, maybe having a pint with colleague in the pub… having a small party in the office? Then that’s it really…

Anyway of course birthday without the birthday wish is pointless, so I have my birthday wishes too… Most of them are almost the same with my Annual resolution. But well, at least I will put double effort in it, so the chances of dream comes true is higher! Wahahaha!

Alright, gonna sleep now. Birthday tomorrow yeah!!!

Oliver 2009 --- Theatre Royal Drury Lane London

I finally met Rowan Atkinson A.K.A. Mr Bean after 3 years of searching him high and low in England. Haha! And guess what, he is not in this kind of attire…

BUT in this

as Mr Faggin, in the Theatre Royal Drury Lane London.

Michael Jackson came to watched the play as well, but not at the same time with me.. Haha! Check out how crazy it was when Michael Jackson arrived at that theatre.

OK, back to Mr Bean, err I mean Rowan Atkinson! He fully utilises his talent in the theatre play – Oliver! as Faggin who is a crook with a sense of humour.

Phew, talk about theatre, in the past I always thought the one I watched while in undergraduate organised by the Chinese Society was the best I ever seen, with real life sized props and well-synchronised dances. BUT, after watching the world famed play in London, I was awestricken! The perfect scenes change, the wonderful casts and the great singings… Yes, Rowan Atkinson sings! And he sang damn well!

I thoroughly enjoy the whole play, giving it a 5 star rating! If you have a chance, please go and watch it! Fantastic play!

A little bit of preview for the Oliver! 2009 theatre play:-

Photos of the play:(mainly focus on Rowan Atkinson)

The Oliver children casts in BBC Children in Need charity show. Watch it to get a taster of how it is like watching a play. (please be aware that this is in the television set stage, so no special effect as shown in the theatre).

Heaviest Snow in London 03-02-09

Hello I am back, and ready to update my blog again… This time is to show you how beautiful it is in London while it was covered in thick snow. In fact it is the heaviest snow in 18 years! Many city dwellers were not very impressed by how inefficient it is for the transport system by coming to a halt after a snow fall. But hey, at least we got a lot of time for our own to walk in that thick snow and snow fight!

I enjoyed the whole experience immensely! Walking in thick snow, snow fight, snow man building. Wow! Check out my photos!

Online digital photo printing service – FREE photo prints website

Recently I searched in Google trying to get the best price and best print quality for the enlargement of my photos due for exhibition submission. As I have learned from the experience, the pricing of the prints alone, doesn't necessary the final price you pay. Handy tips to ponder to get you the most valued price.

1) price per print.
This is usually categorized by the size of the photos you are printing. A typical 6" X 4" print will cost you around 5p for each print. You can choose between glossy and matt coating. BUT, there is emerging trend that many online printing websites giving out FREE print credit for the first time user.

FREE PRINTS (free 20 prints),

PhotoBox photobox (free 40 prints),

WHSmith (partnership with 30prints)

klick, partnership with snapfish (40 prints),

Jessops J Print ( 40 prints free)

2) handling charge
Yes, this is the case for some printing service providers, some of them already included that into the price per print. So don't be surprise if your invoice did come with a handling charge. A example is the website. However, it shouldn't exceed 1 pound per order ( no matter how many photos you print in 1 order.)

3) Delivery Charge
You have to be aware that some providers did charge you a high price for the delivery, some calculate the postage by the weight, others calculated it by how many photos you printed. The postage charge for a typical 50 prints will be in £1.49 -- £2.49 range. Some providers offered a collect in the store offer, like Tesco and Jessops which will save you from paying for the postage.

By taking into accord all these charges, you will now know the true price per print photos.
