York travel trip 10.11.2007

First time travel to York, The most visited place by tourists in UK after London, are fully crammed with history dating back to the Roman empire. This city has once been conquered by the Romans, then the Saxon Anglos, followed by the Vikings. The is a good mix of building architectural designs of the whole city. One thing to boost is the cathedral which is arguable the largest and most important gothic cathedral in the UK. (some might argue that Canterbury is the most important church in the UK).

Nevertheless, the whole city has an amazing environment, not forgetting the ever friendly locals who without fail made the first move to have a conversation with us! IT is more surprisingly that one british guy speaks malay language to me!

A visit to this city is a must if you are into UK history, loves tea rooms ( but be prepared to wait in a long queue!), or fancy something different than London... Ok now, less words and more photos.... Enjoy the whole photos blog...

Winter 2007 Nottingham

We have started to experience winter in Nottingham here with the temperature quickly gone down to the average of 10C in the day, and 4C in the night.

I started to search for my winter jacket in the wardrobe and use it for the mean time. Just can't believe that time goes by so fast. This will be my second winter in UK...

Sennheiser MX-51 review (part 2), after burn-in

After almost a month using this tiny earbuds, I discovered that the treble reproduction from this pair of wonderful earbuds spring back to a better level as compared to the first few hours of using them.

Now I managed to put back the earpads to provide more bass reproduction and better noise insulation and without compromising too much of the treble.

It is a delightful moment whenever used this earbuds while on the move! They are quite durable! It survived the rough uses of me and some accidental big pull from the wires and drop on the floors! It still works as a charm. Well, get this and you will not regret.

Revival of the blog

I know that this blog hasn't been update for quire some times. I am pretty busy with my life recently with the work, eat, sleep, study life. No sex life though.. haha..

Anyway, I got a chance to mingle with my neighbours next door tonight with my housemates. Pete and Rose are a couple of almost 80 years old. They are a very nice British couple, and who doesn't look old at all! I would say they look like 50 years old only and very healthy too. From our brief but sweet conversation, we knew that Pete was the veteran WW II army officer in Egypt until the the end of the war. They are married for more than 36 years! Incredible feat I would say. And Pete still fit to drive a car! Woot, tell me how many 80 years old you ever encounter can drive a car steadily!

It is really interesting to hear their life stories and they even told us how they meet each other. Haha... really open minded old couple and caring at the same time.

Well, wish that next time we will still have chance to talk and have a wine or 2. Haha...
